Ken and I always love destination weddings. It gives us a chance to shoot in beautiful new locations and we get to meet fabulous people from around the world, like Lynn and Matt. They pick an amazing venue for their wedding, The Naka, in Phuket, Thailand. I fell in love with the modern, minimal design and the fact that each room comes with an infinity pool was the icing on the cake!
Wedding Bliss Thailand (my fav group of girls who I highly recommend) planned their day and it was perfect from beginning to the end. Which ended with fireworks over the ocean just for them. How romantic is that! v
Shout out to Jon who helped us shoot this wedding. I was 8 months pregnant and I wasn't sure how the Thailand heat would effect me so we brought someone with us. Turns out I was fine (I wasn't going to let a baby bump or 40 degrees weather slow me down ;) but it was lovely to have another traveller and talented photographer with us. It also meant we could order more dishes of Thai food ;)
