This was one FUN pre-wedding shoot. We started at Back in the Saddle Again and shot with some stunning horses. I have to say the staff there was amazing and the horse were so well trained. After that, we headed to Jericho beach, my go-to for the prettiest light and the most romantic trees and long grass. We ended the day in West Van for some epic ocean/cliff shots...always a favourite of mine, with the most perfect sunset and clouds. I couldn't have asked for a better day or a better couple. Gloria and Zee are so easy going and oh so stylish. I made Ken take note of Zee's great suites, lol.

I'm am just DYING to photograph these two again THIS Sunday at the Hycroft. It's going to be amazing with Myrtle et and Olive planning the day and doing flowers. Speaking of flowers, check out Gloria's bouquet, it is amazing and looks so different at every angle. Heather from Myrtle et and Olive is one talented florist!

We have been so busy, shooting, shooting, raising a new baby, shooting, traveling and more shooting, that we've had no time to post hardly any of the 41 weddings we did last year!

But this one was just way too sweet not to post. More accurately, the bride is way too sweet not to post. I dare you look at Sophie and not smile. She just beams happiness, love and light. So of course, her wedding had all the same feelings. It was a sunny outdoor wedding at the Brockhouse, full of drinks and lawn games. You must make your way to the bottom of blog to see the father/daughter dance. It was hilarious and having a dad that fun, really explains why Sophie is a ball of loveliness!

Big shout out to the talented Melissa Gidney who helped me shoot this wedding, as I recently gave birth to our son, London, and I wanted back-up just incase I wasn't my old energetic self.

I was so excited when asked to photograph, Jillian Harris (former Bachelorette and current host of HGTV Love it or List Vancouver) baby shower. The event was so gorgeous! I loved how everyone wore white. Giving guests a colour palette to wear is a fun idea for any event! And if you follow the star on social media, which I know many of you do, you will know that she end up having a beautiful baby boy, named Leo. Everyone at the shower was thinking boy...it's funny how some times you just know.

This event was feature in Hello Canada Magazine

And maybe see a glimpse of it tonight on Jillian's new show, Jilllan & Justin on W network tonight at 10pm.

We started Nikki & Ken's engagement session in a special spot for them, Pacific Spirit Park, where they walk their dog, Ducky. And I just have to mention this is no ordinary dog, this is the most well behave dog I have ever met. I think Nikki and Ken may be dog whisperers. If we ever get a dog, these are the first two I'm calling up for training advice.

After a beautiful walk in the forest, we headed to Jericho Park for sunset. It always looks so stunning during golding hour. The beautiful sunset and these two who are gorgeous and clearly in love and perfectly matched, made our job so easy. I couldn't have asked for a better engagement shoot back in Vancouver to get us excited about another great summer with fabulous couples!!

Bring on wedding season 2017!!!

Always excited to get creative with some of my favourite wedding vendors. Here we came up with a soft and romantic, effortless (but thoughtful) fine art wedding inspiration look. It's featured on the popular wedding blog Magnolia Rouge today!

One of the million best things about my job is I get to witness my couples in the special life adventure of going go from two, to three…and sometimes four! I was so delighted to photograph Sasha and Chris again and their growing family. Sash was the most beautiful bride and it was no surprise she makes the most beautiful mom.

Also big props on their great colour scheme and coordination on the outfits! Wardrobe is a big part in bringing a photo together. And I love how they match so well with the environment, so there is nothing distracting and all our attention goes to the beautiful connection this family has.

We are so excited for this year's weddings. So many great couples, so many breath-taking locations. This couple is definiltey one of the weddings we are looking most forward to. Nicole and Carson are the sweetest couple, so in love, and did I mention they are two of the most lovely down-to-earth people?

When Nicole told me her family has a collection of vintage cars (an amazing collection), I was ecstatic and knew exactly what to do for their engagement photos. We had so much fun photographing these two, it also didn't hurt that these two look like models...hello, someone sign these guys up.

I can't wait to see how Dream Group will transform Nicole's family property on the Wedding day. There is always something so special about home weddings! We love them!

Sarah & Jade are two fun loving Aussies living in Whistler. They wanted a fun wedding that capture the beauty of this winter wonderland... and that's exactly what they got! They had a magical ceremony in the woods (it even started to snow), followed by an epic photoshoot. We climbed down hills, we climbed up hills, we snuck into areas we weren't suppose to be in, we fell into snow wells and scarred our legs...oh wait, that last one was just me. The day was just perfect, they even got a sunset!
