One of the highlights of 2020, was capturing Courtnay & Derek’s micro wedding at Sanctuary gardens, followed by their engagement shoot the next day in the Okanagan (you heard right, engagement shoot after the wedding. There is no right or wrong time to do a photoshoot...the right time is when it’s right for you!)
I know I say all my couples are special, because they all really seem like amazing people that I admire, but this couple is VERY, VERY special. They are so deeply genuine, thoughtful and down-to-earth, they are just a delight to be with. These are the type of people you are very lucky to have in your life...I know I feel lucky to have them in my life now. I am so glad that they have found each other.
For their engagement shoot, Courtnay wanted to capture something they enjoy doing together, reading a good book and sharing a good bottle of wine/bubbly. The stunning Okanagan backdrop was a perfect place for a romantic picnic. I’m so happy the sun popped out, as these two are true rays of sunlight.
