Romantic sun-kissed shoot: Pamela & Ian

I love how my clients always seem to be on the same page I am. This spring I was itching to do a romantic, golden light engagement shoot in a field. That week, I was chatting to Pam and guess where she suggested doing a shoot...yep, a field! I couldn't have ask for a more perfect couple. Pam's beautiful blonde hair glowed in the golden light and although {I think} neither of them thought the shoot would be so romantic...it definitely became that way. I've noticed this. Couples usually have way more fun than they expect and feel this burst of love for their partner during the engagement shoot. The fun part is easy, if you've every seen me shoot, I'm pretty ridiculous looking. I'll jump on anything or lay anywhere to get the shot. The love part is also easy. Couples usually get caught up doing the day-to-day activities of life. They're together, but their focus is on the activity at hand. During an engagement shoot the activity IS focusing on each other. It's a moment to not think about anything else but how much you love that person. I love witnessing these moments. You can too in these pictures when you see how they are looking at each other.
