Spain Villa Destination Wedding: J+M

I know weddings are a once in a lifetime experience, but some weddings, like Matt and Jo’s, you wish were an annual event. Set in the picturesque countryside of Spain in a villa dating back to the 11th century. They had 45 of their closest family and friends come together for a week to celebrate this event with them.

Winter Picnic Engagement: C+E

I love hearing peoples love story. And Carly and Eddie’s is a cute one.

They met at university on a team project where the other two students were always late, giving these two lots of time to talk and get to know each other. Finally one night Eddie asked Carly out on a date for cheesecake but when they got to the restaurant it was already closed. Eddie just so happened to have all the ingredients for cheesecake at his house, so he invited Carly over at 11pm to bake cheesecake. They stayed up all night making cheesecake, chatting and falling in love.

Sara was lucky enough to lived out many girls have her engagement photos taken in PARIS!

It was an early start to beat the eager tourists, which was tough as Sara and Hunter just flew in the night before, so they were VERY jet legged. But it was a well worth it. To be able to have the streets of this magical all to yourself! A rememberable experience indeed!

I just finished designing this album and sending it to the printers right now! I can wait to have it in my hands and deliver it to Sara and Hunter.

Stylish Parisian Inspired Engagement Shoot

I’m starting this year with one of my favourite engagements from last year, Janene and Ashton's. They had a super stylish engagement shoot planned by Victoria at Style Social Events. Inspired by Vogue, the concept was that they skipped the after party and opted for a table for two at a Parisian café.

These two are lovely as they are gorgeous and stylish. I could have photographed them all day. Can’t wait to show you photos from their 2-day wedding festivities!

Top 10 Personal Highlights from 2014

This past year is definitely one of my favourites, that I will cherish and never forget. We did a lot of traveling, had a VERY busy season with breathtaking weddings and met many new friends. It will be a hard year to top, but I’m up for the challenge in 2015!

Here are some top 10 highlights (in no particular order).

1. Went to India, Vietnam, Cambodia with my Dad

2. Girls road from London to Paris where I successfully drove the whole way on the wrong side of road AND in a car with steering wheel on the wrong side

Vancouver Engagement Shoot: Adela & Stephen

In Vancouver you never know what type of weather you are going to get. But for Adela and Stephan the weather gods were in their favour and the day was PERFECT! These two are super easy-going and we had so much fun photographing them. Actually, I think Adela might have been a model in her past life. I also just adored their cozy fall outfits. Perfect for our westcoast seaside shoot.

Featured on Wedluxe: Helia & Adrian

We are so excited to see Helia and Andrian's engagement photos on Wedluxe. This was one epic engagement shoot, 3 looks in 1 day. It took an amazing team and fabulous couple to pull it off. Can't wait for their wedding next year!!! If this was their engagement, I can only imagine what they are going to do for their wedding!

We won! Best Wedding Photographer!

We are so over joyed to have won the Best Wedding Photographer in BC in the Canadian Wedding Industry Awards . There are so many wondering photographers in our city and I feel like any of the names could have won. We are so excited. Big congrats to everyone in the industry, we are one talented and fabulous bunch! And a big thank you to all my brides who makes this job, the best job in the world!

Sunset Engagement: Monique & Iain

If you spend about 30 seconds with these two, you know right away they are completely smitten with each other. Which makes them so much fun to photograph! You can tell we had a great time shooting, because I think I sucked every last drop of sunlight left from the gorgeous sunset we had. I can't wait to photograph these two again in January at the beautiful Rosewood Georgia Hotel. It will be a great start to 2015!
